RRV bucket is where the NSF keeps a map of where the documents are. Kind of like a FAT table for a hard drive. If the damage cannot be fixed the recommendation is to restore from backup.
You can also try pulling a new replica of the database and see if that helps.
As to the cause. Corruption only tells you what is corrupted. Not what events caused it. If it is happening with frequency with you then you should try and detail what happens around the time of the corruption occurred.
If you can get a reproducible scenario then it can be diagnosed.
